Dungeons II
Minecraft Dungeons II is the first playable version of The Sift. Official sources describe rifts throughout its interconnected world, with Meadow and Carapace named as Sift areas.
Java Edition
Mojang announced The Sift for Java Edition in 2027. The announcement does not name an exact day, snapshot, update title or access method.
Bedrock Edition
Bedrock shares the announced 2027 window. No official source used here confirms a Preview build, beta version or final entry sequence.
Do Dungeons II Mechanics Carry Over?
Not automatically. Rifts, equipment and action-RPG systems are documented for Dungeons II. Until Mojang separately confirms a Java or Bedrock mechanic, it should not be presented as a feature of those editions.
